internet connection

I purchased two Kurio 7 tablets yesterday....one connects to my wi-fi just fine as does every other device in this house. one of the tablets seems to be connected just fine, until you try to get onto the internet......once you try to search or even install an update, the kurio loses its internet connection and cant complete the task. what am I doing wrong?????? dont understand, the other one is just fine!!!

Welcome to the forum

On the one you are having an issue with, go to WiFi and that connection and set fixed IP and DNS information on the connection, I have a link below with some other suggestions.
