I have recently rooted my acer iconia a100 tablet but I also have a samsung fascinate (verizon) that I do not wish to rootfor misc. reason (mostly out of fear to inhibit phone use because I always have problems with it but that's not the current discussion). I want to be able to tether internet off my of samsung fascinate verizon phone with using a PAN (personal area network) through bluetooth but I can't do that unless I am some how able to root my acer iconia a100 as a discoverable PAN device. I don't know if this is possible at all and I haven't found anything on it while searching. Or is there a better way of doing this without rooting my phone to tether to my rooted tablet?
