Is there a light on the back of the s7

I think its supposed to be some sort of notification thing but it seems to turn on randomly its under neath plastic to

The only thing I can see on mine (S7 slim) is the camera lens. Can you to force it on, maybe by setting an alarm or event reminder?

I've noticed this on mine, too. I have a non-slim S7 104 model. It seems to have changed since I loaded 2.2.2 on it - and it comes on with the backlight for the buttons.
