Just wondering. I don't see any immediate reason to take a step back to Android 2.2. Anyone have a different opinion? I don't read magazines on my tablet, though I do have over 1K eBooks.

Well one reason is to get back the stock Nook Color reader application which is very nice to use. But this feature may not be important to all. If you want lots of apps and endless freedom to "have it your way", continue down the road of custom roms.

To me, the only advantage would be if you like the BN magazines and kids books. Otherwise, CM7 (and the various flavors there of...) forever!

Im using my NC more as a tablet than an e-reader thus I'm not expecting wonders out of today's update.

I can't think of a good reason for me. I prefer Kindle over B&N anyway for my books, and I love CM7. They will have to pry that away from my nook.
