I'd like to have it within a week, but I really have no idea when we'll see it.

I can compile it. I just can't get the damn bugs out of my code. I'm really floundering, trying to make the N7 grouper code work on the A2109 Kai platform.

Man you really spend a lot of hard time into the A2109 Kernel, I really appreciate your hard work!!! :) :) :) :D

By the way, i found this online: https://android.googlesource.com/kernel/tegra/ /25a8ce2f9da4ae860aee4ffd7508d751187407dd^!/ not sure if this is valuable for looking at the different between Kai and Grouper...?

    FloRider,
You are so fortunate to understand the linux o.s. like you do, I'm trying to learn more about it, but windows is still engrained in my brain. Thanks for your effort's, at this point in time I guess I'm just along for the ride.
    David :)

Oh well if I finish my port before the source is released, I will release my ROM port, and the kernel built from ICS source. Would be nice to get the jb kernel source but if not oh well, I have stopped waiting on it and moved on to porting a ROM, a bad ass ROM Even if I have to say so myself.

This is the only ROM and kernel combo that can run glowball app on a2109.

Which tarball are you guys using for building recent A2109A JB kernel ?

I have original A2110_GPL_kernel_RC2.tar.gz (from A2110 CD which was ICS).
I also have a2109n_gpl_kernel_570.tar.bz2 (URL in one of these forums)

    I compared /proc/config.gz from original A2110 4.0.4 ICS and recent 4.1.1 A2110 JB kernels.

For example: the A2110 JB config has CONFIG_TEGRA_THROUGHPUT=y (amongst a dozen other differences)
but neither A2110_GPL_kernel_RC2 nor a2109n_gpl_kernel_570 have TEGRA_THROUGHPUT in any Konfig.

This makes me conclude there must be an newer tarball to build most recent JB A2110 and/or A2109A kernels.

    Thanks
