In case anyone is interested Barnes and Nobles..... they are selling reconditioned 3g nooks for $119. with a full 1 yr warranty..and free shipping

I am thinking about picking one up for a gift for my non-tech interested sister...at that price.. the NC wouldn't be of any interest to her.. but I think the email option would be nice.. as well as the ereader

Any idea if this is as good a deal as I think it is ???????

BN has been doing it on and off since before xmas. Also check overstock.com - I think they made it down even lower than $100 there before xmas.

I am considering it for a family member.. any reason not to jump on it ??? at $119 seems like a decent price with a 1 yr warranty???

Does the NOOk have a web browser of is the 3g and wifi purely for connecting to B&N? And it does have a browser, how is the viewing experience with e-ink?

Not sure about the clarity but.. would need to go into the store and check out their 3g. .but what I am being told by people that have it is they can get email and web browsing only on the WIFI and 3g is just for connecting to B&N store..
