I have rooted a Coby Kryros tablet using ClockWorkMod, but I'm a newbie with this tablet. I just purchased yesterday 4-13-11 and my software version includes Adobe Flash 10.1 installed ... which makes me shy about applying mods at this time.
Here is the tablet info:
Model Number - UPC300 -2.2
Android OS - 2.2
Tap UI - 1.1-3389
Kernel - 2.6.32.9
Build Nbr - FRF91
Also, my family likes the installed interface which seems to be unpopular with dev types. I have read some threads and watched some videos ... but still don't want to change the look of the tablet any more than is necessary for performance boost, etc.
That being the case, baby steps for me. I would like to start with fixing the Market App (installing the Google Market app). I have read that this can be done with something called sideload. I don't know what that is or how to do it.
Any help is apprectiated. Thanks.
