Lots of folks are having the same issue with the Kindle app on the ZT-180, including myself. I have called Amazon and they are supposed to be working on a patch or work around. They are supposed to call me back on 12/31/10 with an unpdate. I believe that the only way currently to read purchased books is to remove the DRM, This is a link to one method :i♥cabbages: Circumventing Kindle For PC DRM (updated) using a Python script and the Kindle for PC app.
I'll point an update if Amazon comes up with a solution.

I have switched to Google books, all of the free and purchased books work. Amazon recognizes the problem and refunded my money in 24 hours.
