    NOOKcolor won the prestigious Last Gadget Standing CES 2011 "People's Choice Award!" NOOKcolor blew the competition away!

    NOOKcolor won in a landslide, besting competitors with more than 60% of the nearly 5,000 votes cast by consumers and technology lovers online.

    ARE YOU SERIOUS!?!??!! That so totally inflates my sense of self-worth.

    And I'm only being a little bit facetious. ;)

    Seriously. It makes me feel bitchin'.

    EDIT: and you know what's most interesting? How many of those voters had rooted their NC? I dunno...10%...30%....? But not 100%. That's a really good sign that "mere mortal" owners love it too. I keep forgetting it will get 2.2 and an app market from B&N. If I knew nothing about rooting, for $250 that would still be awesome.
