That amazing dev, pawitp is still working hard for those few of us who own the A700!

Yes, CM11 is out for the A700. It is "UNOFFICIAL" for now, but rest assured it will be merged into the official CM "eventually." Reviews are coming in fairly slowly because problems seem scarce. I've not yet tried it myself, but from what I'm reading there appear to be no major bugs (in fact, no one has really complained about anything!) and those who have made the switch seem very happy. There may be a slight performance gain over CM10.2, but as I've not switched I can't confirm that.

If you're ready, and if you're willing, here is the link: [UNOFFICIAL][ROM][4.4]CyanogenMod 11.0 for Acer A700 - xda-developers

I know this forum is pretty dead, but I hope someone out there drops a review in the comments. For now I'm still happily using E.A.P.v2 and I'm not ready to make the transition.

To A701 users, thanks to @mrzottel, I'm adding 3G support into the ROM (no need for a separate build for A701). A700 users will have the same experience as before (no permanent empty signal bar like when using A701 ROM on A700).

One more thing before I go: CM11 is now 100% compatible with the A701. 3G, SMS, and GPS are now working!

Just today 18/02/2014 I flashed CM 11 17/02/2014 Nightly Build along with the corresponding Gapps and it's running sweet on KitKat 4.4.2 :)
