I'm thinking of getting one of these little Nexus 7 tablets, but I do a lot of downloading and was wondering if there's an Android app designed just for downloading rather large files? I normally use Firefox with the autocopy and linkification addons to do this on my PC. Thanks.

Most of the browsers, including Firefox for Android will allow you to download large files. Some even allow you to specify where the download folder will be rather than using the default. Unfortunately the add-ons are limited compared to what is available for Firefox on the desktop.
