    I've always used Go SMS Pro. It works best for me since I enjoy having a new look at least once a week.

    If you haven't checked out these apps recently, take a look at all the choices you now have in the Communications category.
    I recommend iPlum. It gives you secure texting for free and you can buy a US phone number for only $1 per month as in app purchase, in case you need it.
