    Hi,

I am looking for a decent Powerpoint viewing app. I could not find one.

Sure there are a lot of apps that allow viewing the series of individual slides in a PPT, some better than others, but I could not find one that displays the slides in presentation mode with all the dynamics like on a PC.

    Does such an app exist?

    Regards

    Hi,

No no, unfortunately Quickoffice does NOT do it. Sure it allows displaying the slides the same way you would do on a PC when you are in editing mode.

What I need is displaying the slides in presentation (slide show) mode.

The goal is obvious: I want to use the tablet as a presentation tool. While I think this is one of the obvious professional uses of a tablet, it seems there is no app that a do this!? The only way I see is to save your PPT as PDF, which is by far not the same because you cannot use dynamic features, a PFD is a static file...

For iPad there is an app called SlideShark. This converts a PPT to a iPad compatible format that allows to show your PPT as if you were in presentation mode on a PC. I am looking for similar functionality on Android.
