Manual nooter 4.5.6

I didn' t see it here yet, I was on XDA forum reading about CM7. I found this information about manual nooter 4.5.6 for stock 1.2 . If I understand correctly this version is a fix for the 4.4.27 version? And with 4.5.6 is going to be a breeze( I love breezes!) to install from the market, no more sideloading? Anybody tryed it?

I tried it and it seems faster than 4.4.27. I haven't had it long, but everything seems to work fine. Market installs, YouTube videos etc. It took me a week to get up the nerve to root my brand new Nook, but I'm glad I did it. I think you'll like it too.

The step by step 4.4.27 instructions in the fourth post at http://www.androidtablets.net/forum...d-stock-1-2-rooted-manualnooter-4-4-27-a.html still work for 4.5.6 except:
Change #1. Download from ManualNooter-4-5.6.zip instead since you want 4.5.6.
Change #10. to select the 4.5.6 zip. (Obviously)

Is there an upgrade path or steps to update 4.4.27 to 4.5.6? I was an early adapter and would like some of the fixes.

I tried that, and it didn't work for me. Fortunately I had made a CWR backup of my 1.2.0 and was able to restore it and go to 4.5.6 from there.
