Messages sending twice on email 3.1 app

Hi,
I've got a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and I started using the email 3.1 app. The problem is that it sends messages twice, i.e. the message I write plus the same thing again as a footnote. Has anybody else come across this using their gmail account?

Hi AndyRyan, welcome to the forum. Never had this issue before. I have however noticed that sending emails from my Gmail account lags and can be sluggish sometimes for some reason, even though I have a super fast Internet connection, never had duplicate emails like this before though, that seems a bit bizarre.
