Hi everyone, maguip1 here, here for the first time, I have been influenced by a lot of my colleagues to purchase the tab 7.7 GT6800 and so I went ahead and got one, I am impressed with its apps, speed and other integrated programmes, however I need some help here, when I have tried to copy or drag files/docs into the microsd card i repeatedly get access denied or in some cases no reponse, has anyone experienced the same, if so how did you overcome the problem. basically I cannot use the microsd 32gb card for storage.

Many Android tablets are sensitive to card with certaion formats. Check the card in your PC to see that it is formatted FAT32 or NTFS and you may want to format it in your PC and test it again. Also there is an issue with fake or knockoff cards. If it was from a major supplier and purchased from a reliable vendor you should be OK.

I am curious as to whether you finally were able to get a micro sd card to work. I have a 7.7 and ordered a 32G micro sd card at the same time I ordered my 7.7. Later on I happened to be in a Menard's and saw they were selling a 4G micro sd card with the adapter to make it a normal sd card for only $7, I bought it as well. I use the adapter and insert either my 32 or 4G micro into it and then insert it into my laptop which has a card slot. I can transfer music/pictures to the card with no trouble and later I insert either of the two micro cards into my 7.7 and it reads either.

There are numerous warnings out about not using a micro sd card larger than 32G and even with the 32G to make sure it uses the FAT32 file system. There have also been a few reports of folks using a 64G micro sd card and having successfully formatted it to FAT32 and having it useable by a 7.7.
