MID 1042 Slow

Is there any way to speed up my tablet? It is annoyingly slow loading e-mail or browsing.

Hi Jack, congratulations on your Coby 1042 and welcome to the forum. Nice to have you as a member of Android Tablets. If the problem is that it's gotten slower while you've had it, try turning it completely off for a minute or so and the rebooting it. That sometimes helps.
