I opened the case of my Coby Mid722 because of a
water damage. After that the touchscreen ditn t react
to input. I first thought it is broken,but if i press a
little bit on the backside of the case, it is working
again. Anybody got any ideas how i can fix this?
Yes reopen your case and make sure all the ribbons are connected especially the wide one with the blue end also there is a more slender cable attached to a a piece with yellow film that one probably was loosened
Well i only see 2 grey ribbons, they don t have a connector, and no ribbon with a blue end. Fixing them with a sticky tape helped
a bit. The touch screen is reacting now, only turn round of the display still does not work.
