Mid8127 4gig coby Kryos

I was given a tablet for free but it needs recovered. I power it on and no splash screen just the home, menu and back lights light up. Wont even pop up on usb either. Reset will not work. Not FWDM screen nothing. Is there a nand in is device that can been reflashed even if it is not bootable? I have it a part but I do not see any sd cards inside it. Am I wasting my time or is it resurectable?

Ok I am able to unbrick the device shorting pins 41 and 42 but I have searched and searched and cannot find a rom on the web for this device. anyone have a rom back up for this device with the FDWM tool to restore this thing to defaults? Just want to get this thing up and running. It is a Coby Kryos 8175.
