Mirrored Android tablet top

My dog stepped on my wife's android tablet. The tablet is a Land Visual Prestige 10. Anyways after the dog stepped on the tablet, everything is mirrored. You have to touch the left side of the tablet to see the time /weather vs. the normal way of touching the right side. And the lettering underneath each icon is backwards. Would doing a factory reset fix this issue? Thank you.

It sounds like the problem may be hardware related and a factory reset may not help but it certainly is worth a try. (how big was that dog?)
