Modem 3g in Kyros?

    has anyone tried succesfully to install a modem 3g on this tablet?I tried with a hwawai model but my kyros got forzen and I had to use the reset button.

    I do not think anyone has gotten one to work. Since the driver for the usb port is not setup for a internet connection, but mainly for transferring files, i do not think it will work

    it can be done, but i don't know how.

    it's only about the firmware/drivers

    Well since that tablet and 3g modem are made by the same company, there is probably a compatibility usage for them. Also the tablet wasnt made be COBY, so they couldve installed the driver and COBY didnt. You may get it to work if u somehow add a driver, but it seems very unlikely. If u really wanted OR needed 3g, then I would reccomend a tablet that has that opportunity available. Another option is get a 3g smartphone with wi-fi modem, and use it as ur modem for the tablet.
