i have an old modroid tablet that that i was going to use for Kindle but it won't open.I thought i would try rooting never having tried it before and noticed the someone saying about z4root but when i looked on the market i cant find it.The tablet details are:
    modroid-v7 WM8650
    Androdi 2.2
    Kernel 2.6.32.9-default
Build number generic-eng2.2 Froyo Ver 1.5.1-20110708.105253

The easiest way to make it usable is to throw it away and get a new tablet. Sorry to say that but its the truth. Now on to your other question, z4root can not be found in the market you need to sideload it to your tablet
