More recent experimental builds of VLC for Android

out of curiosity I've built a more recent snapshot of the current state of VLC for Android.

well, watching media the on-board application doesn't support ?

PS: Another user had VLC show its loading animation endlessly. After configuring his media directory in VLCs settings, things worked out. If that doesn't do the trick, you're left with opening media files from other apps (e.g. a file browser, or while browsing attached SDHC media with the built-in data transfer app), if they offer VLC as choice.
