I have a FR-809 (if I remember correctly).
This is the single speaker model of the Herotab/Imx515. The usb port/charging port broke lose. So I got out my cell phone tools and opened the case. The contact leads have come off of the motherboard along with the port.
Resoldering this is beyond my skills. Does anyone have and experience in this type of repair or has anyone found a good supply shop for replacement parts. Other than not being able to charge the bugger. Its a good device.
I have graduated to a rooted nook color for my tablet needs, but would love to get this working for my daughter. It would be a nifty birthday present.
