I just found out that along with the 3.2 update there is a movie rental section in the marketplace. I think that rentals now work, has anyone tried this?

The rental section has been there for a long time, at least here in the states.
There have previously been reports of the sale going thru, but then an error message states that you can't play movies on a rooted device. Even on stock tablets.

So test that out for us and report bak, mmmmkay? :D

I rented a movie from the market place, it took awhile for me to get it to play, I kept getting buffering in process. Patience isn't my strong suit. I rented it to see if I could play it on my tv, worked great.

Yeah, its going to buffer long enough to get enough movie to play without any pauses.
Best bet is to buy and download when you aren't using your tablet, and then watch it later.

Bear in mind the time frames the movie detail page.

RENTAL GRANT PERIOD:
30 days
RENTAL ACTIVE PERIOD:
24 hours

That means you can buy it up to 30 in advance of when you watch it, like when you are going
on a trip or something and want something to watch on the plane. But once you start
watching you have 24 hours to complete it. You can watch as many times as you want
in that 24 hours.

The time frames vary by title, but most if them are as above.
