Moving from an iPad 2

I've decided to move away from apple. After getting my Htc sensation ive fallen back in love with android. Now the only problem I have is what android model to move to price isnt an issues I'm looking for a device that can either beat the iPad or compete with it

First you accept the fact that not all the Apps available on iPad will be available on the Android OS. Second you must decide exactly what purpose this tablet will serve. If its web browsing with some gaming then pretty much any of the Tegra2/1GB line will do. (Acer, Asus, Xoom, Tab 10.1) Then you need to decide if you want the tab to serve as a makeshift netbook. Obviously then you go with the Asus. If you want a tab with a little of options on board, IE HDMI output, USB input support, etc. Then you go with the Acer. I can't really recommend the Xoom or Samsung over the Acer/Asus because frankly I feel you're paying a premium on the name, I'm sure some people will argue against me and that's okay.
