This is good news! However, it does not work on all Android devices. Click here to see the list of supported devices. Basically the requirements are:

Firefox is available for Android 2.2 or higher. It requires:

    • A phone with an ARMv7 processor.
    • Approximately 17MB internal or SD storage. It runs best on devices with at least 512MB of RAM.

My Acer A500 is NOT on the list - BUGGER

    Regards,
    Peter

I really want to like and use Firefox for Android since I use it on my desktop, but it has been nothing but complete garbage across the 7 devices I have attempted to run it on. I'm not sure why devices with identical specs but different branding cannot run it when the other can.

Get Dolphin HD. No issues with it at all even on my weakest device. Chrome is a POS as well if you ask me.
