MS-Exchange for gTab (or tabs in general)

I have found that some of the tablets have issues connecting to Exchange (esp. if they are running the most current versions) with NitroDesk's Touchdown. I have posted this a couple of other places, but here is a url for the Android Tablet-specific version of the app. Once you install it, you can update just fine, and I have had no issues getting my Exchange account working here:

Is that a trial version? (don't have my tab yet to try myself)

I guess I am more ignorant on some Android topics than I assumed earlier, but which popular ROMS (for gtab) support exchange natively? It appears that the Vegan (sp?) line do, but TnT don't. I guess I thought since 2.1 all android devices would work with exchange..suppose licensing wouldn't let that be so easy, but does anyone know how that works?

I probably should just buy a recommended app so I'll never have to worry about it.
