Mute?

Is there a way to quickly shut off all the volume of the A500? I use it in a classroom and I dont want to hear emails coming in or keyboard clicks. It would really be cool if there was an app that would let me shut off volume for periods of time and then after say 60 minutes have elapsed, turn all sounds back on. Thanks for any pointers.

I have recently downloaded an app called audio manager. It has the ability to mute all sounds with a single tap. Might fit what you need.

But it still needs a timer function.
