I must say I don't have the Borders app so this is going to be a wild guess. It's based on how some of the eBook apps work. Restart your tablet, if they are still MIA sign out of your account, restart then sign back in again. Most of the apps record your purchases and allow you to download them to your device again if lost. I hope you find them again.
