I just received my c8 last week. Worked ok for about 3 hours and started doing the same a yours. Force stop a number of times then freeze. Put every firmware (different dates) I could find on tablet and they all would work fine for a few hours then do the same thing. Now it will update the firmware (only from external card) and then it will freeze up at Herotab logo or the lion picture (different frimware). It no never gets past the logo point.
Just sent it back to China. If they can't fix it I will have to get a refund and look for another tablet. Love this one when it was working.
