My stock video player vanished

Using traveller1701's awesome batch file I rooted my MID9742, then burned (or flashed or whatever you call it) clockworkmod recovery, then installed gapps. After all that the native video player that comes with the unit has disappeared. I did system backups throughout the process, but I don't want to revert back since I have google play now. Is there any way to recover the video player app from my backups? I know there are other video players out there but the native player worked so well (& without the annoying ads.)
Thankx,
Apchar

I'm glad to hear that the native app worked so well for you. I would try MX Player or Mobo Player or even BS Player. They all seem to be better than the default for many people.

Agreed. I installed MoboPlayer to watch the few videos I have on the tablet and called it a day.
