Has anyone done a NAND backup of their wowpad/flytouch2?

Can you post steps / apk links etc on how to achieve.

I have read that this device may be NAND locked, which would be disappointing.

" How to update Wowpad/Haipad/Flytouch II etc to 1658 Firmware ( it is strongly suggested that you do update, the changes are worth it.)"

1658 is an unofficial release from an unknown (to me) source. 1561 is the last official update. Do you know if you will be able to apply the next official update when it comes, or are you planning on restoring 1561 if you cannot? Just something to consider before installing unofficial updates.
