Navigation in Adobe Reader

How do we select pages i.e. go to a speecific page after opening a pdf document or book? It is quite obvious in the desk top app but in the mobile app it is not so obvious. Could someone help please?

Tap on the screen until the page numbers pop up in the lower left corner, then tap on the page numbers. You should get a dialog box asking you which page to go to.

There is no such scroll bar or tab anywhere on the screen. There is a button on top left corner saying for instance 3/314 ie, page 3 of 314. However the button performs no action no matter how hard or variously i prod it. It only displays the page number.

Update your version of Acrobat. The current version in the Play Store functions in the way I describe.

Updating didn't work. Some hardware compatibility problem perhaps. Lastly installed PDF Viewer by Joseph Paul Cohen. I find it excellent. Thank you, Traveller1701.
