need for speed shift

Ok, so I paid for and downloaded this. I really like it. I wanted to play the tutorial, but I can't seem to get past tilting left to right to steer. I have done laps for days...and no "next"..

I can just skip the tut and play, but I would really like to learn it.

Ok, I play it judt fine. The only problems I seem to have are:

1. Not being able to accelerate when I want to...how do I do that?

2. Braking by accident....how do I NOT do this?

BTW, I am playing it on my HTC Inspire for the moment.
