Need help booting Kyros MID7015

Hi, I have a Kyros MID7015 that up until yesterday has been functioning quite well. Today I turned it on and it continues to get stuck on the Coby boot screen? I've tried resetting without any luck. The tablet was rooted with google market place awhile back. The only thing I've been able to access is the option to load update.zip along with the factory reset. I would prefer not to have to start from scratch if possible. If anyone has any advice it would be very much appreciated. Thanks
