Need typing software app

I'm a writer trying to get away from my laptop in libraries and government agencies. I would like to use my Coby Kyros Android tablet with a keyboard for basic writing needs. This would later be transferred to my desktop for further editing via Google Docs or Dropbox. I don't need help with finding the hardware, it's the software app I need.

I would like to find a basic word processor app to use. I have looked at QuickOffice and others but I don't need anything but a text processing program

like MS Wordpad, Atlantis Word Processor, or maybe RoughDraft. If you are familiar with any of these you may know of something I can use.

Any writers out there?
