Does Netflix app. for Android 2.3 require Adobe Flash player 11 or Java before it works?
Because at the moment it would try to connect with rotating circle but would disconnect back to Netflix movies menu. Thanks

My tablet is Curtis LT7029 tablet O.S. 2.3 Android. What do you mean by ROM ? the operating system ?
I didn't understand the video- the part about editing that file and putting samsung on it.
So do I edit and put curtis in that file and it suppose to work ?

No, it doesn't require 11 but it does have some unique aspects. I have NOT done this but this is a reliable source running Netflix on gingerbread (2.3) rom on a nook color. You should be able to use it to get it working on your device assuming your system chips can handle it.

Hi zhong, you may not have to edit that file. Netflix does require that you have flash installed. You can either download it from the Android Market or side load the .apk if you find it elsewhere.

Once you have installed Flash try Netflix again. If that doesn't work you may then need to edit the file so that Netflix thinks you are using an approved device. You would put a device that is known to work (like Samsung or HTC) in place of the name of your device in that file.

I tried Flash 11 and flash 10, they both don't work.



That apk file to download is just a folder browser right ? Is Es browser similiar to Astro File Manager ?
Cause I already have Astro File Manager installed on my tablet already.

What is file name that you edit and put Samsung ?

It will not crash or affect my Curtis tablet if I put Samsung ?

I was a sucker as well and bought a curtis klu 7029
cant do nothing with it.
cant get the two things i wanted netflix or gemrb i will post my log for netflix here and the one for gemrb in a more sutable section
please help :(

I think Netflix don't work because it needs Flash player in order to work. Our tablet don't support it.
