Netflix unresponsive/slow

Whenever I run Netflix on my A1, it's unbelievably slow. The only movies I can play are those at the top with a "play" button displayed. I cannot select any thing from the categories/genres shown...when I click them, it simply does nothing. Also, scrolling is ridiculously slow/choppy/unresponsive. Any ideas?

When I am able to get one of the movies at the top to play, it plays well, with no choppy playback.

I don't really know as I have had no such issues, but based on the fact that your playback is OK, I would think it's not a connectivity issue. Why not try uninstalling and reinstalling the Netflix app? (You are running through the app, not through your browser, correct?)
