I am thinking about getting a remote 4g device for my nextbook next7/12p. I do not have a good source for wifi were I am, I also would like to be more mobile. Netzero offers one at19.95 per month. I would appreciate any thoughts or suggestions.

If you are referring to a MiFi type device, about like a credit card and you are in an area where there is decent cell service it should work just fine. The prices sounds good too so I wonder what the catch is?

Make sure to check how much data each month that service allows you. You will want to make sure it will be enough for your needs.

Does the NetZero 4G USB "modem" work with Android? The box says "Windows XP or newer" and "Mac OS-10.5 or newer" but no mention of any other OS's.

Anyone try it?

The chances of that "USB" modem working with Android is slim to none. They typically require drivers that are OS specific. I have a link below with additionmal info on some USB modems that DO work but there are very few.
