    Hello,
I am considering an android device. I am a geek user and don't need most things in these smartphones. I will be writing Lisp programs when I go hiking and if I get lost in the wild, I need GPS. Thats my requirement. I am looking for advice on what to buy. I will post some questions later. I am looking forward to similar people.
    bye

I would look at tablets with a 7" form factor then. Big enough to be easy to use, small enough for a pouch pocket.

Welcome. Ya the 7" tabs would be best. What's your price range?

Thanks very much. My price is less than 500 USD.
