I don't understand why Coby's website says nothing about MID7022 yet. They are selling a new product without promotion....mmm what do you think about it?
I was just looking at radio shack's web site and noticed a few more Coby model numbers I haven't seen. They are listed as out of stock. Anyone know if these are new models coming out?

hmmm...I guess the early adopters always get punished - those who bought 7024 for the same price

woooooooooow the im so getting this for fathers day!!!!!! I wanted to hold on till christmas to see if a better
tablet
(specs and price) came out but it too tempting

7022 IS the better tablet lol. I returned my 7024 when I heard that Coby may be releasing a tablet with same specs but newer OS and capacative screen; and just a couple days after returning the 7024 I find out about 7022 at Toys R Us!

My guess is they are testing a small segment of the market to "see how it goes" (like Hollywood does with films). Once they feel comfortable that the public likes this tablet, and no major issues, they will put on Amazon.com, etc...

I don't mind trying to see if the roms work on my tablet seeing that I have a replacement plan but I do have a question. Should I try the 4k or the 8k? Another question for you fun. I can code in visual basic, java, delphi, and a little asp.net. How hard is it to pick up linux(can add it to my resume haha)? I really would like to help in rom development.

I have only few time and mainly for CM7 dev, not for play with such a 2.3.1/2.3.3 rom. (actually, I don't have any EM73 yet)
anyway all you need to do 1st is make backup your stock rom. if you really want and can agree to brick your tablet (at worst), please join my dev thread on XDA.

sorry, I can't answer last question. only you know hard or not hard, can or can not.
