New gapps file?

I saw xda a thread that mentions a new gapps file from 5/3. Can I install this over the current gapps just like when I update cm7, or do I have to remove the old gapps somehow?

If you use ROM Manager to update CM7, you should get a pop up asking to include gapps. The newest gapps should be the one offered.

Not sure if you can do it over current rom or not.
