New Tablet Won't Do Anything

I was giving this android tablet I believe It's Chinese. When I power it on I can't do anything. The screen is black with the droid dude in middle. On the lower right corner it says: android OS2.2 kernel 2.6.32 build numberv1.3.0..wat do I need to do?

I had the same problem with mine, I had to flash a new file to it. Be forewarned, you may run into the same problem as I have with a non working touchscreen unless you have a backup from the original setup.
