Next8P Tablet

Just picked the Nextbook Next8P tablet. Has a Rockchip RK2918, Cortex A8, cpu. Running Android 2.3.1. It actually runs pretty quick\smooth. However, has a few drawbacks. Doesn't run android market. I tried, program constant FC. Amazon marketplace runs fine. Some apps download but won't install.

Is this equivalent to another make\model ? Are there custom roms available?

Hello DA,

I have heard that this is equivalent to the Presdigio PMP5080, but without the micro HDMI connector. XDA Developers has a ROM to upgrade it to android 4.0.4.
