Nextbook NEXT8P

Just recieved a new Nextbook Next8P model. So far it runs smooth. However, I need to get Android Market installed. It came pre-loaded with SlideME, not worth it. I've loaded the Amazon market app. However, it doesn't have the app that my wife needs (Wordstorm), which is available on the adroid market. I've loaded the newest version. But, it FCs after setup. This tab running Android 2.3.1. Is there a version of the app ? Do I need to be rooted?

If it doesn't appear in the market it would be deemed not compatible. Email developer and Google market for help. The former may supply you the apk to install manually.
