Welcome to the forum!

Does your WiFi router/Access Point have internet (can other devices access the 'net)?

What color is your WiFi connection (Grey or Blue)?

Can you connect to non-google sites and services?

Have you tried rebooting your cable modem and WiFi device? (Unplug for about 30 seconds then plug them back in)

There are quite a few threads about this problem.

Turn off the tablet completely - not sleep.
Power cycle your modem/router - turn off for 2 minutes and then turn it on.
Get your tablet to forget the connection, reboot tablet, then get it to find your wifi.

Do the above - they don't need to be done together. Try one and see if it works. If not try the next one.

This issue happened to me just yesterday. Rebooting both modem and router and following these steps got the wifi back up again.
