It is quite mind boggling, but somehow Google missed the fact that there are 12 months a year in the People/Contacts app of Android 4.2. This only affects you if you are trying to add a birthday to a contact and it happens to be in December. The choices go from Nov straight to Jan when trying to pick your date.

Our friends over at AndroidPolice have verified the bug, and that it has been submitted to the Google team (bug 39692)

And of course, funny comments ensued. My favorite was this one

If Santa uses Android 4.2, he'll deliver the presents in January. If Santa uses iOS 6, he'll never be able to deliver the presents because the maps application will take him to outer space.

Ha ha ha, oops. This directly effects me. I guess I don't get a year older this year.

JP, you only get to stay the same age if you have an Android 4.2 device. Better run out and get a Nexus 4, 7 or 10 quick!

Don't worry JP, you are going to get one year older.....what you are not getting is the present, the cake and the party!
