not connecting to wireless network

Hi and thanks for this forum. My Android 2.3.3 MID (Chinese) hooks up perfectly to my office WiFi, as does my iPhone etc.
At home, I hooked up my iPhone and my wife's iPhone to WiFi, but the MID keeps looping through "scanning"..... "connecting"..... "disconnecting".
The office is set up to WPA/WPA2 PSK and home was om WEP. I changed it to WPA/WPA2 PSK as well, but still the same endless loop.
Appreciate your guidance.

Some people have had success by changing to a router channel lower in number than 11. Worth a try?

Thanks Spider. I checked that. My router is set to CH 6.
But I know it's something arb like that causing the problem.
