onda v818 mini - Too many pattern attempts

Hi,

I got my Onda v818mini.
Pattern unlock was set, unfortunately forgot the pattern.
Tried several times to unlock and now getting "Too many pattern attempts".
Its asking me to sign in using google account, but unable to do. I suspect that wifi is off.
Can one of you let me know on how to unlock the tablet?
Is factory reset is the only option?
